This arrived on my son’s Bday. The funny thing is that I decided to stay in to work while he spent the day with his cousins. When I heard the knock, I couldn’t have predicted it would be this #godsplan Feels surreal. I acknowledge that I was probably meant to be alone to reflect on, and celebrate this moment. And so I did. I held the proof copies of my book for the first time, I took myself out for a meal, sent messages to a few peeps, and leaned into it all. Hello, June x
