Ok someone pass the tissues! Wow my mom has made it to her 60th birthday! Thank you Jesus! We don’t take the precious gift You have given us for granted! May 25th, Felicia was born in a small village in the Volta Region. The middle child of 9 children. Came to the states in her early 20’s, gave her life to Christ in her early 20s before meeting my dad. Mom, what would I really do without you? You are the pillar that holds us together. You’re our common ground and our prayer intercessor. From an early age you instilled the power of prayer in me. You never cease to tell me to pray in the good times and bad times. You really have lead by example. Gracious, classy, God - fearing, kind and loving amongst many. I am so honored and proud to be your daughter. Thank you for ALWAYS believing in me and pouring into me anyway you can. Vivid memories of you praying for almost everyone we know. And I mean everyone! She had a different prayer for each person. You’re not much of a talker in public but when you get on your knees to pray, you become a prayer warrior! Wheww! I remember in my pre teens always complaining about how I looked. Saying things like, “I hate my lips! I hate my legs! Why am I so skinny! Why are my nails so dark!” You made it a point to always tell me how beautiful I am. I am just so happy that God has kept you for us ! Your determination and drive really came forth when I saw you working front lines at the nursing home! I didn’t tell you then, But I was and still am so proud of you ! I pray that you live a long healthy life. Your number one prayer is to evangelize to people in small villages and I pray that your talents in the kingdom of God will not stay dormant. I love you. I love you and I LOVE YOU!
