If you told me 10 years ago that I’d be releasing an openly queer song titled “Daddy I Love Him”... I would never have believed you. But now we OUT here. Progress is a process. It feels great to finally feel comfortable enough to express myself in uninhibited ways. In some of my more dire moments last year, I needed to write from a place of lightness and levity. This song feels like a feather on the wind when I compare it to some of my past works. Don’t worry, I’ll be putting out a few doomsday anthems this year for all you sad fucks.
