Mexico City photo dump part one!!!! favorite things about this city include: -a shared obsession with clowns!!!! clowns on every street corner! -lengthy meal times & food everywhere you look! (a real love language for me!) -a city that moves remarkably fast in a culture that moves deliciously slow -a commitment to tangy, spicy and excessively salty flavors. As my grandma once said “salt is my favorite food” and I couldn’t agree more!!! -THE THRIFTING-fun, cheap, incredibly chic & fashionable used clothing & items! -spaciousness: in the housing, on the city streets, in the relationship to time -being a tiny baby newcomer to a language and culture and being invited by locals to keep trying even if I felt nervous & unsure -the soundscape!!! bells & songs to buy old metal & whistles to sell sweet potatoes & jangles & jingles & chants!!! more reflections to come 🪅🍒 Gracias Mexico!!!
