ALICE COLTRANE: An Expansive Spirit 🕉 Date: August 27, 2022 6-10pm Venue: @grandperfs, Downtown Los Angeles @dublab and @coltranehome present a free concert featuring performances of @alicecoltraneofficial's music in celebration of her 85th birthday. Performances by: • The Universal Consciousness Orchestra, a string and harp ensemble performing Alice Coltrane’s cosmic classics as conducted and arranged by renowned composer @miguelatwoodferguson. • @musicbotofasinasurya of The Sai Anantam Ashram leading an ensemble playing bhajans and progressive sounds inspired by Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda’s devotional music with featured vocalist @MichelleColtrane. • Special guests and dublab DJs 🌸 Attendees are encouraged to bring an offering of flowers for the altar. 🌺 Link in bio with more information.
