✨Day 348 of 365✨ styling a vintage piece from my grandma‘s and my collection every day for a year! Of all the amazing prom/homecoming dresses I’ve showed on here, HOW HAVE I NEVER SHOWN MY MOM’s?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ The year was probably 1991 and she was around 14 (a freshman in high school) when she wore this sequined “Flirtations” dress to homecoming! It makes me CRACK UP because later in life she hated dresses (and the color pink) so much. Her mom begged her to wear a dress for her graduation but she absolutely refused... how and why she wore THIS pink girly dress is a mystery! Today I paired it with some 1980s earrings (Kristy’s Creations, made by a family friend), some thrifted heels, and a 1940s handbag!
