Let’s be friends 🥰 recipes always 👇🏽 Steak & fries w/miso gravy Steak with miso gravy recipe: For the steak ✨2 10oz ribeye ✨salt & pepper to taste ✨1 Tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil ✨1 Tablespoons butter ✨1 clove garlic To make the miso gravy ✨2 Tablespoons of butter ✨2 Tablespoons of miso paste ✨ 1/4 teaspoon better than bouillon ✨1/4 cup heavy whipping cream ✨1/4 cup of water 1. Generously season your steak with salt and pepper on both sides. 2. Rub olive oil on both sides of the steak. 3. Heat a stainless steel pan over medium high heat until fully hot. 4. Place the steak in the pan and let it cook undisturbed for exactly 4 minutes. 5. Turn the steak onto its fat cap and sear each side of the fat cap for 1 minute. 6. Flip the steak to the other side and cook for an additional 4 minutes without touching it. 7. Lower the heat, add butter and garlic, and baste the steak for 2 minutes. This timing gives me a perfect medium steak. If you prefer yours more well done or medium rare, adjust the cooking times accordingly. 8. Remove steak from the pan set aside and start on your gravy. To the pan add butter, miso paste, Better Than Bouillon, heavy cream, and a splash of water. Stir until a gravy forms. If the sauce is too thick, add more water to thin it out. 9. Taste the gravy and adjust salt if needed. 10. Turn off the heat, place the steak back in the pan, and let it rest. 11.
