@instagram I DON’T UNDERSTAND!!!! Jokes aside, I really don’t understand why Instagram is taking down my Valentino posts and stories as there’s nothing showing (I censored if there was something showing), but I need to stop trying cause I don’t want my account to get deleted. We experienced that last year and we’re not going to make it happen again! the fact that bodies, and specially queer and women bodies are being silenced and banned from this app is VERY frustrating. Me, @charliefuckingbianchetti, @nettu.no, and @agnesquestionmark were brave enough to get naked in front of a camera and the whole internet (exposing ourselves to potential critics and bullying), with all of our insecurities and our vulnerability cause we, as minorities, know how important representation is. I’ve been on this app since 2012, and I’ve live through all its phases and changes and adapted to them. The 2012 me would had never posted a naked picture, but as I’ve grown and evolve, the 2022 me even though there still some things I still feel insecure about, I have accept them and every time I have the opportunity, I embrace them. @instagram, you should do the same! It’s time to grow and evolve. Naked bodies are beautiful, they’re pure art, and theres no harm in that if it’s done consensually and respectfully, so an algorithm shouldn’t dictated what’s acceptable and what’s not. Also, my IG profile is not only a window to my life but most importantly is my portfolio, so the fact that I can’t share one of my biggest accomplishments in my modeling career it’s upsetting me and my homegirls. So all this rant just to say thank you so much for your love and support, I really appreciate it and I’m thankful for being part of the conversation and part of the change. Besitos
