Ten years ago I was at my absolute rock bottom. I didn’t know where my life was heading and I was scared out of my mind. My anxiety, extreme insecurities, and self-destructive behaviors set off a chain of events that led me to leave college for a semester. I say these things not to start a pity party, but because I want you to know you’re not alone if you’re experiencing something similar. It’s OK to not have everything figured out ... no matter how old you are. We all need to take a deep breath and recalibrate sometimes. My first semester back at school I got a 4.0 while taking eight courses. If keep your chin up, stay true to your values, and are relentless in the pursuit of your dreams they will come true.
