"We spent two days exploring and camping at Volcan de Acatenango, the third tallest volcano in Central America and just outside the colonial city of Antigua. While Acatenango is currently inactive, it's apart of a volcano complex that is joined by the neighboring Volcán de Fuego, an active stratovolcano that has been vigorously erupting since 2002. What makes Fuego so special is its hikeable ridgeline, allowing for what would usually be an impossible upclose viewpoint of one of earth's most otherwordly phenomenons."
