Meet 2022 #OutfestScreenLab Fellow Katie Heaney (@katieheaney)! Katie (she/her) is an author, screenwriter, and journalist based in Los Angeles. She has written six books and her essay “Am I Gay or Straight? Maybe This Fun Quiz Will Tell Me” was adapted for the Amazon's @modernlovetv series in 2021. Katie's feature script MY EX-WIFE’S WEDDING focuses on a recently divorced lesbian who has to scramble to find a someone she can present as her girlfriend after finding out her ex-wife is (already!) getting married.
