FORMER SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE AGAINST A MINOR RIVERSIDE, CA – On Thursday, September 8, 2022, detectives assigned to the Sexual Assault – Child Abuse Unit (SACA) arrested 25-year-old Morgan Leigh Martin of Riverside for sex crimes against a minor that occurred a couple years ago. Detectives began this investigation after a young woman recently came forward stating she had been victimized by Ms. Martin beginning in 2019 and ending in 2020 while she was still a minor. As a result of their investigation, Ms. Martin was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center and is being held on $120,000 bail. Morgan Martin had been a substitute teacher in the Riverside and High Desert areas for the past several years.
