incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with and learn from virgil. a true visionary in every sense of the word. he always encouraged us to think and dream bigger, and i’ll forever be inspired by his creativity, kindness, and generosity. going to cherish all the moments i saw eyes light up when he walked into a room, kids soaking up all the words of wisdom he shared in discussions he took part in, and how hyped they were to get their hands on a pair of his sneakers or be in his presence while djing. he was a real life superhero who birthed a generation of multi-hyphenate creatives and showed us anything is possible. he cared so much about the youth, opening doors and giving life-changing opportunities to so many. & he showed us that it’s not about how hard or how much you work, but the positive impact you leave on everyone you come across and those you inspire both near and far. it’s hard to imagine a world without you here, but i find solace in knowing your legacy will live on inside so many. rest easy, v. thank you for sharing your light and love with us all. 🤍🕊
