#happyfourthofjuly #happy4thofjuly What do you call a religious extremist group that infiltrates a country's government and then uses that power along with oppression, intimidation and forcible means to strong arm the citizens of that country to submit and give up civil rights against their will ? If you think the answer refers solely to some group in the Middle East, you need to open your eyes and look again. No matter where it occurs, it's called terrorism. Supreme Court Justices Barrett, Alito, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Thomas all voted to overturn Roe v Wade. This is a direct attack on women's civil and human rights. They won't stop there. Justice Clarence Thomas called on the court to revisit other decisions, including on contraception and same-sex marriage. In his opinion, he wrote that he would do away with the doctrine of "substantive due process" and explicitly called on the court to overrule the rulings in Griswold v. Connecticut, on the right to contraception; Lawrence v. Texas, on the right to same-sex intimacy; and Obergefell v. Hodges, on the right to same-sex marriage. This is an ongoing domestic attack on the United States and its constitution from within the US government - directed and engineered not by Islamic extremists, but by Christian extremists, or "Christian Jihadists" and they are out to create a fascist regime suited only to their beliefs - at any cost - including the lives, health, families and civil rights of every US citizen that does not agree with them. They have been enabled largely by secret private funding, members of the US Republican party and the voters that have put them in office. It is ironic that the US was in part created by people who were trying to escape religious oppression, and now the religious extremists are the oppressors. Dear US citizen, this year especially - enjoy your #independenceday #holiday - because it may be the last one that actually celebrates the #unitedstates as the country it was intended to be by the founding fathers. #VOTE !!!
