One year ago my first ever album came out! It was everything I dreamed it would be and I love it so so so much. HAPPY BUILD A PROBLEM DAY! - I did a shoot with @photo_parri where I got in a very slimey pond for some reason but made it look beautiful with @rorydewar - I scored a 20 minute long 6 song string accompaniment for 13 players in @parallaxorchestra - 6 violins, 3 violas, 3 cellos and 1 double bass! it was the most challenging and rewarding thing I’ve ever had to do and it sounds perfect 😭 not to mention record and create the whole thing with iconic legend @joerubel - I made a series of videos where I knitted out each letter in a hangman style reveal of the title! - had 3 singles with 3 wonderful music videos, one shot in “as it was” iconic location, one steamy one that has gone SILLY VIRAL, and one that gave me Postie dodie 👮🏻 thanking @charliediplacido @mirandajadec @icoepr @thehazelhayes @ciaranobriendop @rebstagram @r_ch_el @cambriabaileyjones @ljsgrant @sophiejnewt and truly so so many more people - had the album delayed twice - once I took pretty well, the second time not so much - thanking @__joshuaedwards__ for ur never ending patience - me and @jackhoward crafted out 12 lyric videos (one for each song) in a car and I had to eat cake in a car wash, lipsync at twice the speed of the song, cry heavily in fake rain, walk in a dress by the sea when it was FREEZING, get nakey in front of my dop (Ciaran has seen it all), inhale a maccies and do my makeup at the same time etc etc - Accidentally wrote a whole B side to the album in lockdown while waiting for the many many delays in releasing the album YA HAD A GREAT TIME 10/10 WOULD DO AGAIN. After a long break :) :) but not too long :)
