sharing a seasonally relevant spooky item of deep importance to me for this fine month of october i think i’ve had a natural magnetism towards all things weird or obscure since i was very young, likely thanks to my father exposing me to horror media at an earlier than average age (which i’m incredibly grateful for). i think i remember these books being available at a book fair when i was in elementary school when i had to beg my mom for extra lunch money so i could get something cool. i remember seeing the cover of the first book and being very creeped out by it, but in a way where i was captivated and couldn’t keep my eyes off if it ultimately what i was so fond of were the incredible illustrations found throughout all the books. so beautifully detailed with enough whimsy to leave my young mind conjuring/imagining up all sorts of ideas of the depicted beings, likely scaring me more than the actual images themselves, which i’ve shared a handful of my favourites of i doubt they’re even that valuable but this set was lovingly gifted to me by @masochistic_clown, and is not for sale; thanks for looking 🕸️👹🎃
