I recieved a song for mixing and mastering recently, the rapper featured on the track was so close to the mic that the pops sounded like the kick drum. He should have just sollowed the mic. Unfortunately, someone recirded him and this why this subject cannot be over emphasized. Some artist turn deaf during recording, so the producer has to increase their headphones to the maximum and it spills to the mic.
