Join me this Saturday for the annual @vintage4change sale which is part of this historic 10th street block festival. There will be many old school New Yorker vendors selling vintage, antiques, furniture, lighting and more. Plus there will be food from @veselkanyc and live jazz! I will be there selling my vintage from my collection as well as friends’ and neighbors’ things that have been donated. 50% of proceeds from the clothing sale will be donated to Clean and Healthy NY @cleanhealthyny an incredible NY non for profit fighting for environmental justice rights and a non toxic future. They are responsible for pushing forward bills eliminating toxins in our hygienic products, baby products and more. In 2021, they were instrumental in passing the “Family and Fire fighter protection act” , which eliminates toxic chemicals used as flame retardants that “poison children and firefighters and don’t prevent fires”, as Bobbi Wilding states (Executive Director @cleanhealthyny) I am so proud and honored to be part of their board of Directors.
