Evenflo Lip Set Review by @permanentmakeup_jane_syan “I always say that I only use mineral and hybrid pigments in my work. My students can attest: usually I prefer glycerin-based pigments and try to avoid organic synthetics 🙅🏼‍♀️ I started studying the composition of Evenflo pigments with curiosity, because it is very important for me and I’ve never used these pigments before. They are glycerin-based pigments, which is definitely a big plus. The presence of glycerin in the pigments composition makes it possible to get a beautiful velvet color on the lips. Thanks to glycerin, Evenflo pigments has an ideal consistency, medium density and is easy to apply. Further in composition: the ingredient list shows WATER as the first ingredient, glycerin somewhere in the middle and alcohol in the end of the list - and this is another ➕. If alcohol is on the 1st place, then you are dealing with synthetic organic pigments. They dry quickly and are suitable for tattooing, but not so much for PMU since these pigments usually contain a lot of titanium dioxide, which then gives an unnatural effect of a cheap lipstick on the lips. The first 3 pigments (BARE, MALINA, LULU’S ROSE), contain white inorganic titanium dioxide (CI77891), as one of the first ingredients in the ingredient list, after water. It suits girls with a warm lip color type. The following 2 (CLAY, MALBEC) contain red pigment as one of the first ingredients: red mineral (CI77491) and red organic pigments (CI56110). This suggests that these pigments are as warm as possible, they will help neutralize cold and plum colored lips. When we know how to read the pigment ingredients correctly, we can choose what pigment to use for a specific case and color type as accurately as possible.
