open-mindedness is the best trait anyone can have. it means when meeting something new, unknown, different - you give it a chance. and then you love it. I’ve been battling a lot of insecurity lately because DJing in the UK can be very cliquey. I class myself a tech house DJ (and when I drop my music I’m producing you’ll see why even more) but I love to sample all formats - obviously for the rock events it’s tailored, when I supported Martin Garrix last month for example it was more commercial instead of rock - but for me all I care about is having a big singalong. a big moment. taking a big dance track and fusing it with another massive track to make something that leaves a lasting memory. I want to play at dance only festivals but sometimes (not always) the reaction to me sampling rock isn’t met with bookings. I’m so determined to break through that, to bring the experience to dance crowds because I truly believe deep down in peoples hearts - they ARE open minded. I see it in the USA and I wanna see it more in the UK too. take a risk and book me. I promise I’ll bring a crowd. thank you guys this weekend for proving that I am right when I tell the music industry that dance fans like all genre samples and rock fans like dance music. we are all one 💖 and I felt the love last night 💖
