I remember the day I got the port put in, I knew that day I would take it out in less than 6 months. 5 months later I got it removed. I remember laying on the operating table telling myself “don’t worry, this is temporary. Soon we will be back here removing it and you will share your story with the world and give hope to those who need it” I have no idea how and why God blessed me with such an amazing recovery but all I know is that I will forever be grateful and live life to the fullest. My life will never be the same ever again. I don’t know if it was my faith that played a big role because nothing was able to shake me. No matter what was happening to me, I kept thanking God for the healing that was taking place within me. No one really saw the mental work I did and still do daily. It takes a lot of effort to have faith in the midst of darkness. And I never lost hope! I always called on HIM and HE was always there 🥺🕊️ I learned so much through this journey of mine. I now know, that there was no way I would’ve learned all that I did any other way.
