with the obsession of people getting their reels to go viral & expand their Instagram I feel like the authenticity is sort of lost. The intention is now focused on “being trendy” and “going viral” and truly one upping the other. The sole purpose of why I got into photography was because I loved telling other peoples stories. Getting creative was fulfilling and seeing someone’s story get played out right in front of me & then having those memories forever was truly incredible. This app that was once a place where you could just share your work & the art you were proud of now has become so toxic to where I sometimes don’t want to post anymore. Instead of not posting, I’ve decided to use this as an opportunity to continue to encourage others to stop copying, stop trying to make it big, stop trying to do the next best / trendy thing, and just create for you & for your couples.
