I had just arrived home after work and realised the rain had stopped. I saw a faint shade of the milkyway through the fading clouds and figured I'd test a new lens on it before bed. I gave Klara a quick cuddle and went outside to get some quick snaps. I noticed there was a little aurora so jumped in the car and drove to a little nicer spot. Astro chief @danieltgum is always banging om about milkyway/aurora shots so I had to try and do him proud. Managed to get in position and take a few before the sky exploded right where I needed (which never happens). Twenty minutes later I was in bed. Job done!🌈🤓
