Highlights Foundation founder and retired Executive Director Kent Brown is celebrating his birthday on Nov. 24! 🎈We’re celebrating him with a fundraiser to benefit the Highlights Foundation 💙💚 @charleswaterspoetry is helping us kick off the birthday week celebrations with this shout out 🥳 Along with building the Highlights Foundation as its founder, Ken has also been a (literal) builder: he constructed the Barn, the Lodge, and most recently a storage building with a 30kw solar array to help provide renewable energy on campus. He also has been (and continues to be) one of the biggest champions of the Highlights Foundation Scholarship program. He knows that children are our world’s greatest resource, and scholarships are a big part of how the foundation helps storytellers inspire children. Thank you, Kent, for all of your contributions.
