just opened what i thought was a new journal to write down my end of 2022 thoughts and questions. found this. hm. looks like end of 2018 glennon had the exact same thoughts and questions. i have little progress to report. Still anxious still awkward still weird still yearning for peace. EXCEPT THIS: 1. i no longer consider my weirdness a problem to be solved but a GIFT TO BE CHERISHED by a few lucky lovebugs because we can say weird things. 2. I know now that awkward is where the light gets in. 3. I have redefined social anxiety as: being star struck by everyone. That's the way I am and I stand by it as the correct reaction to being in the presence of beautiful unique human beings- all of them. love you. let's stay weird please. g
