Y’all, but seriously- it’s a well-made, informative telefilm (directed by Ted Post who gifted us all with my beloved THE BABY [1973]!!!!) but a real rough ride for our characters😬. The reasons for and dangers of hitchhiking are g r a p h i c a l l y laid out. The underrated Charlene Tilton is feisty, touching & adorable as our lead, & TV staples Dick Van Patten, Katherine Helmond, Christopher Knight et al give able support. It’s also the late Dominique Dunne’s first movie & she is terrific.
