Do lips with filler need less passes of tattooing? 🌸 Lips with filler typically with retain color quite well, especially when the skin is thinner like this lip above or the client is a Fitzpatrick 1-3 🌈 Lips with filler are typically more hydrated and already stretched, so with proper needle angle, the needle glides into the skin very easily. When the needle can implant easily, the retention is better in healed results 👊 Even though lips with filler are easier to tattoo, I still do the same amount of passes that I would do on any given client. HOWEVER, the speed of my machine or pressure doesn’t need to be as fast or deep 🕊 For better healed results and overall look of your tattoo PLEASE follow the precare.
