This is an appreciation post for #VanJones, someone I respect and admire. I met him a few days after my book came out. I was in a dark place, but felt I should put on a brave face. He reminded me of something very important, it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to cry and to ask for help. Even from the darkest moments comes light. I am grateful for you and all the work you do to help make this world a better place for us all. @vanjones68
