✨️Saffron Gin Fizz✨️We're raising a glass to you, our spicy lil community with this sunny, aromatic, frothy libation (feat. #KashmiriSaffron 🌞) — recipe by @fromheadtotable, ofc! Makes 1 cocktail 2 oz gin 3/4 oz saffron simple syrup (recipe follows) 1 oz lemon juice 1 egg white Ice Soda water 3 strands saffron 1. Add the gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg white to a cocktail shaker. Seal and shake vigorously WITHOUT ice for 15 seconds. 2. Unseal, add 4 to 5 ice cubes, and shake until the outside of the shaker feels icy. 3. Double strain into a glass, top with soda water, and garnish with three strands of saffron. Enjoy immediately. SAFFRON SIMPLE SYRUP 1 big pinch saffron 1/2 cup granulated white sugar 1/2 cup water 1. Grind the saffron into a powder and add to a small saucepan with the sugar and water. Place over medium-high heat and bring to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
