This past week contrary to normal weeks in my life... I spent it helping my grandma, the matriarch of our family, with her transition to heaven (her new home) 👼🏾 I’m still trying to find the words, the filling to the gaping hole in my heart & find comfort for myself as well as my family right now but within that I also wanted to share this information with you all being that my grandma played such a big role in the lives of so many including some of my dear friends. There are so many memories I cherish through life and even in her last days this week with her. As special and incredibly magical as they are I’m finding it hard to share the depth of our connection within her transition the way I did when she was alive... everything that she was to me I hold so much more dear (and I didn’t even know that was possible) From her incredible cooking, to our chats on the back patio, to us singing the blues, to the interests I took on from watching her, her incredible seamstress skills & her PRAYERS (which are probably still keeping me as I come and go) Thank you to everyone for your comforting messages, calls, etc. please just keep her siblings, her children: My Father, My Uncle Markell & Aunt Nicole As well as her grandchildren & great grandchildren in your prayers right now as we mourn such a great loss in our life.
