I feel like the end of august divides people into two camps: one is relieved that the pressure to be out out out all the time is over while others have the blues. But I also think it doesn’t have to be one or the other. I think we can absorb a slower pace but also not self impose limits and rules that I personally think come from a time when we had to go to school and felt that crushing weight of the new school year. I am looking forward to a gentler pace but also I have to consciously remind myself that I don’t need to ‘knuckle down’ just because it’s September. I can still go out, and live life.
