For the first time since 2019, the annual runway show spotlighting our graduating fashion students returned to an in-person event. Themed on Homecoming, this year’s Pratt Shows: Fashion showcased the next names in fashion to an audience of over 300 guests. The collections revealed what is on the minds of the next generation of designers including issues of identity and body inclusivity. Many looks on the runway involved sustainable design practices and made use of natural dyes and bioplastics. Dan Li was awarded Christopher Hunte 'On Point' award, for her collection of meticulously crafted garments showcasing shibori dyeing, crochet, and other labor-intensive techniques. The annual award is determined by a jury panel of industry experts. Congratulations! 22 students each presented a runway collection composed of eight to 15 complete looks, including accessories.
