It’s National Addiction Recovery Day 💪🏻 Today I celebrate 1682 days of sobriety which is an absolute miracle because there was a time when I couldn’t go 30 minutes without getting high. When my arms were covered in bruised track marks. I would go weeks without sleep or food. I was beaten and broken to the lowest version of myself when I walked into treatment the last time. I wasn’t even a shadow of the man I am today. I’m not delusional anymore so I know that no matter who I have become today I will always be growing and changing. I’m just 1682 days away from the person that I used to be. I just want to continue to be proof that addicts can recover!
