It is 51 kilometers from the capital of the Prefecture, Ioannina. Build at an altitude of more than a thousand meters (1.080 m) on the Kazarma peak of Mount Tymfi. Tsepelovo, with its many well-preserved mansions and churches, is the undisputed capital village of the wider region of Zagorochoria.
