It’s a wrap. 40+ cities. 9 weeks. One year older. Norway was the perfect way to finish this #youngmungo trip. (Did you know @gyldendal_no were among the first to support my novels without hesitation?) It was special to pass my birthday in Oslo with old friends and my Norwegian, American, British and Swedish publishers. Wonderful to meet so many fantastic writers, including our Nobel prize winner Abdulrazak Gurnah and my hero, Ali Smith. And it was a deeply moving to speak with the Bishop of Oslo, Kari Veiteberg, and to celebrate Mungo and James (and Tillman’s iconic kiss) inside a church. 🏳️‍🌈 Time for a long rest and a chance to catch up on some reading.
