I’ve been told if you really want to get to know a person, then you should travel with them. It’s been almost four years since i’ve last done an intentional break - a solo trip with nothing planned but with a clear objective of self-discovery. I think it’s important for our well-being to always find time to re-center and learn about new things about ourselves. And as for me, it’s traveling to unfamiliar places that does that. I’ve missed this feeling of not knowing what’s going to happen and just letting things unfold as the days go by - quite a stark contrast from how I usually am in my day-to-day. The next few days will be an adventure and i’ll try to document them as much as I can while being present.
