In coordination with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, Direct Relief has secured and delivered to Ukraine enough long-acting insulin provided to meet the country’s estimated need for seven-plus weeks. The insulin, manufactured and provided to Direct Relief by the drug maker @elilillyco, was delivered to Ukraine over the past two weeks and will be allocated by Ukraine’s Ministry of Health to hospitals, clinics, and programs treating people with diabetes around the country.
