#TBT The Emcee in CABARET with Anne Hathaway and “Friends (read: Legends)”... and also me filling in for the irreplaceable @rauleesparza who had a TV shoot during the early show. I will never forget rehearsing the opening number with director @tedsperling @annehathaway @audramcdonald @theharveyfierstein @linda_lavin in a back alley with sirens blaring after being evacuated for a fire-alarm. An absolutely “couldn’t make this up” New York Theater moment that dreams are made of. Here’s to the hope of many more on the horizon, as our community returns lead by and committed to our BIPOC colleagues, to define the next chapter of New York Theater with a renewed and invigorated focus on equity, inclusion and racial justice.
