I’ve challenged myself throughout my entire soccer career. Always looking for ways to get better every day. To put myself in uncomfortable situations. To compete against myself. I’ve had the opportunity to represent my country, to win medals and championships, and push myself to reach the top of the soccer world. I was now being faced with the ultimate test in my life, one in which was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. Words cannot express what we all had to go through. It was the most physically, emotionally and mentally challenging experience I have ever endured. I was pushed past limits I never knew existed. There was no preparation that could have prepared anyone for this. This was a test to see what you have within you. Do you believe in yourself? Will you surrender to accept the process or quit? This experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I am forever grateful for. Thank you to the incredible producers, staff and for @foxtv for bringing this to the 🇺🇸 for viewers to watch .
