A very impressive thing, especially since this was her first actual embroidery project besides sashiko. She dyed some slightly mismatched colors in tea to get cohesive colors she liked better. Her tension is almost perfectly uniform. Took about two weeks. Gave her peace and joy. Stabbing things can do that. I am honestly nowhere near this good. Her "left" sides would even make my gran proud (very secretly, b/c obvsly pride is a sin)
