Love Letter Left for You to Find: an ongoing photo series I wanted to do to express the role love has in my life. Featuring @hotboyallie & @lordwav ❤️‍🔥 Allie has been someone I have wanted to photograph for a long time now. Sometimes when I find someone who’s spirit I want to capture, I don’t act immediately and I wait for the right reason. When I met Allie, I met her partner Kyle, and immediately I felt a special connection between the two of them. During our shoot their was one thing Allie and I related to which was how past partners can help inform what you need in a relationship. While it may not be beneficial to compare people, its helpful to use the experiences you’ve had to know what you are looking for. In some of my past relationships I had felt like I was giving more energy than I was receiving. And I learned I have a tendency to chase after people and things to earn their affection and approval. I always felt like if I could achieve reciprocation it would be that much more fulfilling because of the effort and energy put into a relationship. Finding that reciprocation in my current relationships whether romantic or platonic is something I have to be very conscious of. And be conscious of how I behave if I don’t feel that reciprocation.
