BIG NEWS!! I’m thrilled to announce our sophomore album CARM II will be coming out on @37d03d on October 21! Today marks the release of our first two singles: “More and More (feat. Edie Brickell)” and “Essex Girl.” We also made a music video of “More and More” that features Edie and the CARM touring band (CJ Camerieri and Trever Hagen). Filmed and directed on location in Montauk, NY by Graham Tolbert and edited by Arielle Heiman, we hope our music video for “More and More” captures the wonderful interplay of Edie’s spectacular voice with our horns over the startlingly beautiful backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. Working with Edie on this song was a dream come true. She is one of the most talented musicians and loveliest humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of collaborating with and I hope it’s the first of many songs we make together. Link to video in bio! In addition to Edie Brickell’s stunning voice and lyrics, “More and More” features contributions from Trever Hagen on flute trumpet, Nadia Sirota on violas, and Jim Anton on bass. “Essex Girl” wouldn’t have been possible without Kristian Matsson, The Tallest Man on Earth, whose banjo and guitar really transformed this song. Also featured are Sean Carey on drums, Cole Davis on bass, and strings by Gabe Cabezas and Tim Fain. Can’t wait to share the rest of the album with you soon, once again produced by Ryan Olson and—in addition to Kristian, Trever, and Edie—features friends Gabriella Smith, Sid Sririam, Sean Carey and Justin Vernon.
