Today was a great day. @jaimecanete and I headed south to Victoria to see my family and for one of the biggest speaking engagements of my life, full of heavy hitters-my grandparents and all their friends at their assisted living. My book, Listen To Your Vegetables started in my grandparents garden and kitchen when I was a little girl. It is such an honor to share their stories in this book. They taught me so many of life’s lessons. It was great to meet their friends and talk about food, family recipes, vegetables, gardening and of course, the bees.
