HEY EVERYBODY COME AND SEE HOW GOOD THIS LOOKS 🚨 Disclaimer 🚨 No one but Bethanie can have this extensions transformation on such short hair. She’s special. It’s for her only! Bethanie has been my client for many years now and has always had long flowing locks that we would paint and blow out and curl. Newly engaged, last year she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Almost a year ago to the day we chopped all of her hair off and waited for treatment to do it’s thing. In May her hair was coming back in full force and it was time to start planning for a wedding! We decided that with an October wedding on the books, her hair might be long enough by then to fake a little bob with some extensions so we did a little shaping trim and prayed to the hair gods for some serious growth. Fast forward to this week and the day for extensions finally came. She had a few inches of hair on top, which I would typically say is still not enough, but with the right placement, texture of extension hair and strategic at-home styling, I was confident we could pull it off. Bethanie is wearing 3 rows of hand-tied wavy wefts from @covetandmane custom colored by my amazing assistant @hairbylauren.wain The placement I chose is completely customized to her to ensure as seamless of a blend as possible As her natural hair grows, I will be shifting the rows and adjusting the wefts as needed. This will take very intentional styling on her part at home to make it blend, but for a special person with a special occasion, it is well worth the extra care needed for a temporary solution!
