Did you know you can 'play' some of the works by Sedje Hémon in the exhibition 'Abstracting Parables'? Sedje Hémon was a trained violinist, but World War II stopped her from playing for years. That's when she turned to painting. With an extensive technique, she created paintings that could be translated to musical scores. That's why her visual works can be performed. In the audio tour accompanying the exhibition you can listen to one of Hémon's works that was translated to music.
