We’ve overcome many dark days, a global pandemic, a country politically divided, unacceptable racial issues, and now potential another war. This has left many of us feeling hopeless and battered, I am no different. It’s taken a hefty toll and has changed me. @wakaanfest is a magical time and a place that gives me joy, hope and purpose. It reinvigorates my soul and reminds me that there is good in the world, I just have to be willing to see it and choose it daily. 🎯 I’m excited to progress and expand on what we did our inaugural year. It’s an honor to work on and for this label, festival and community and not something I take lightly.
