2022, what can I even say you saucy minx. My year by numbers shakes out to 38 weddings with 6 stunners that Katie captured for our brand, 15 boudoir sessions, 10 surprise proposals, 51 engagement sessions and 11 lifestyle & branding shoots. This doesn't include hosting a workshop, attending the Knot gala and capturing three destination editorial shoots. I also traveled to Turkey, Guatemala, Portugal, Italy, Scotland, New York (three times), Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Bolivia. Not going to lie, this year was a dream (and really not just saying that to add to the toxic positivity of the gram). I came off 2021 feeling extremely overwhelmed and overworked. I did some interpersonal work and mental health maintenance and came into 2022 ready to party. I loved all of my travel experiences and really felt my work evolve. I absolutely adored the variety of clients I was able to serve this year and still humbled I am going into my EIGHTH year as an independent business owner. If I could repeat 2022 over and over until my last day, I would be a lucky gal. 🤍 So THANK YOU to the 44 couples who trusted in us to capture their wedding day and the nearly 100 others in 2022 who patronized my little business. For me, you’re not just choosing a wedding photographer but actually allowing me to live an authentic beautiful life. You're the reason I am living in my dream.
