All I’ve ever wanted is for @smorgasburgla to be seen as a stepping stone for the best chefs and small food businesses in Los Angeles. But part of being a stepping stone means vendors graduating to bigger and better things, and this Sunday we lose three big ones. Tomorrow will be @bridgetownroti @littlefish_echopark and @twowingschicken’s last Sunday vending full time at Smorgasburg. It’s hard for me to pretend like a small part of me doesn’t die every single time a vendor leaves, but I’m also so proud that coming out of the pandemic, each of them wanted to make Smorgasburg a part of their story and I will brag about that forever and forever. I can’t wait to see what’s next! (Besides the epic #smorghack I’m planning for tomorrow’s lunch. Fried fish curry roti anyone?!)
