Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive tour for the @igersvienna & @igersaustria.at through the #ImperialTreasury on occasion of our #CrownFunding campaign. 👑💫 Curator Franz Kirchweger gave fascinating insights in the extensive research project surrounding our ultimate #CrownJewel: the #ImperialCrown. ✨ Up to this day our knowledge of the origin and composition of the materials of this precious piece is just as incomplete as our knowledge of its history of restoration and reception. For this reason we joined forces with renowned national and international experts from several scientific disciplines to get to the bottom of the numerous questions that remain unanswered. 📷 Thanks to all the #IGERSvienna who joined us yesterday and captured the Imperial Crown through their own eyes to spread the word about the marvelous object and the importance of the project.
