Back from the 7th Burn ⁣ & what comes up the most is closing a cycle...⁣ ⁣ My biggest realization was the appreciation of the fact of how my life evolved from where I was at my first Burn, in 2012, and where I am on my 7th, exactly 10 years after. ⁣ ⁣ Back in 2012 I was unhappy both in my personal & professional life, ⁣ on the 15th year mark in the passionless corporate job. ⁣ ⁣ BM was the opposite of where I was in my life.⁣ I found inspiration, hope, I felt energized, free, loved.⁣ & at home for the first time in years. ⁣ Everything from freedom of expression, limitless creativity, open minded people to epic events & being close to nature⁣ was how I wanted to live my life, ⁣ yet my “grey suit, 9-5, huge dense city, lack of my tribe” life was opposite if that. ⁣ ⁣ BM gave me clarity, inspiration & courage. ⁣ It was huge part of me quitting my job after 15 years just 3 months after.⁣ & huge part of my life for the years to come. ⁣ - I started BM costume brand as my first little business⁣ - I organized my mini BM camp “Playa del Karma”⁣ - I deepened my love with my ex partner ⁣ - I met my future boss who offered me a job at Nomade ⁣ - I gave some of the first big classes there⁣ - I quit drugs & alcohol ⁣ ⁣ 10 years later⁣ I reflected on that decade in my life,⁣ how I managed to create a lifestyle that allows me to live like that all year long,⁣ how I am authentically myself, freely expressed, surrounded by like minded tribe. ⁣ ⁣ 10 years ago BM was the highlight of my year, something I would wait for to experience these Wow moments. ⁣ Now my life is filled with passion, freedom, creativity & wow moments all year long.⁣ BM is no longer the highlight.⁣ It feels empowering, emotional & little nostalgic. ⁣ I will be taking another indefinite break,⁣ & not because BM is any less amazing,⁣ but because I am in a different place in life. ⁣ ⁣ I still think it is the most extraordinary event, life changing experience & love filled human experiment. ⁣ If you never been, pls go at least once! ⁣ Make it intentional, cause as you can see Playa provides! ⁣ ⁣ Huge thanks to @maxacamp that was my home for a week. ⁣ ⁣ #burningman #burningman2022 #blackrockcity
